From the beginning we decided to age her up from the original little girl in the illustration. We thought how odd it would be for a toddler to be running around town chasing a magical rain puppy.
We experimented with different styles and cloth textures, eventually landing on a messy bun, romper and a comfy sweater…the perfect combo for a sad girl…which became our crew’s moniker for her. Ha ha
